We're having a BLIZZARD!

Yup, you read that right, we are in the middle of a freakin' blizzard. It took me 3x as long to get to work as it usually does this morning at 5:30 a.m. Rick took these awesome photos while I was slaving away answering the phone at work (which was ringing off the hook!). Looks like we are definately going to have a white Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone!

Mom sent me a message

Today is the one year anniversary of my mother's passing away. I took the day off because I knew that I would be a mess. I signed into the computer, clicked on this blog to listen to my playlist and what should come up as the "Fairy picture of the day" but this picture of a fairy talking to a frog. Boy, I just started crying and went to get Rick. Mom absolutely loved frogs! To me it was definately a message from her telling me that she loves me still. I miss her so much and I would give anything to have one more day with her. All the pictures that have come up on the fairy spot have been totally different than this one. I have never seen this before in my life. What a blessing! I love you Mom!

Holy Crap!

I am so dang excited! I went to my favorite graphics site and got the top header for this. You have got to check her site out. It's ann-s-thesia.com and she has the most phenomenal out of this world graphics! This site is the one I used on my old Geocities website. Love, love, love all the choices available. So, this is the new and improved Scraps (it was only a few days old to begin with!). I am almost to the point of sending my baby off into the world (the world wide web) to meet all my friends and family. Almost...

Whoo Hoo! I finally figured out how to add a playlist to our blog and actually have it work properly. Now, there'll be no stopping how many stinking songs I'll be adding to this. I actually had a list of songs that I thought of as I was working on the tills at work this morning. Ridiculous! I may have just found a new obsession! Ya think?!!

Starting Over

As my about me states, I used to have an extensive website connected with Geocities. I had spent literally hundreds of hours developing it. I just don't have that kind of time available anymore. (This was made when I didn't have a life, ha ha)
I saw a friends' blog and have been following it pretty regularly. Thanks Carrie! I figured that it was about time I got back in the game. So it begins....
