Labor Day

Today is Labor Day. Day off from work with pay, thank you very much. I've become (like many others) addicted to being on Facebook. Make a couple of comments on friends or family walls and then play games for flipping hours. What a great waste of time! Yee Haw! It's a wonderful escape from my stressful existance. Hopefully, I can actually get something acomplished today. Gave all 5 dogs baths in the pouring rain yesterday. They had been out in the pen and were totally muddy. It wasn't how I wanted to spend 2 hours of my Sunday but I didn't want them in the house the way they were. I've been working on some projects for my re-done scrap crap room. All in pink, white, and black. French sortof theme. I've done a wooden 4 tiered file folder, a clock, a shelf, and now I am working on a French memo board with ribbons, and a set of 4 hat boxes that stack. I still need to buy the supplies to build, and paint 3 shelves that with everything else I am doing should pretty much get all my stuff put away or on display. Yay!

Added a Facebook badge

This is a picture that Rick took of he and his Dad on their trip to Idaho for Uncle Jimmie Reed's funeral.
Picture of Cindy and I in our dining room. She had come over to open up her birthday presents from Rick and I. She and I have so much fun together.
Our incredible Blaze Monster. Will he ever stop growing? Survey says.....NO!!!

I signed in tonight (or rather this morning) to add a Facebook badge and figured since I was here I would do a posting. It seems like time just totally gets away from me and I don't seem to get around to posting here as much as I would like to. Most of the time I am just too exhausted or to bummed out to want to write. I spend so much time with my dogs, reading, scrapbooking, or with Rick that I don't take the time to sit down and do this. I just had a bunch more (nice grammer) pictures printed at Costco. I love their prices and especially when they run the coupon special. Now..the trick is to actually scrap them! I have started doing some digital things but I don't like any of them well enough to actually print them or publish them on here for anyone to see. I still need lots of practice. I have spent a lot of time on Facebook lately. I have been so excited to find old friends and family members that I have lost touch with. I'll add a couple of pictures out of the batch I just had printed and then I've got to get to bed.

Long Time No Write

It's been 2 1/2 months since I've taken the time to sit down and enter a post. We have been incredibly busy. Mostly with our new puppy Blaze. His is so freaking huge! It's almost incomprehensible to me how fast he has grown and how big he has gotten. I've been trying to get some scrapbooking done and fortunately (or unfortunately according to my husband) I've been investing in lots of new papers, embellishments, and I've had almost 700 prints made at the Costo 1 hour photo. Rick has been working his tail off around the Sharpio Plantation to get the outside back where it needs to be for the spring/summer season. The place looks great! We've had some days off together and have done some road trips which were lots of fun. Yesterday we went to Bonney Lake and Bellevue to go shopping for our combined birthdays. Rick's was the 4th of May and mine is the 11th. We went to a Ben Franklin craft store, out to lunch at Mad Dog's, then to the LDS distribution center for a set of scriptures for Rick. He got a quad set in burgandy. We hit the LDS bookstore for an action figure of Captain Moroni with the title of liberty and a John Bytheway cd set for Rick. Checked out a gun shop and then on to The Container Store for organization stuff for me. We finished off the day with a snack and dessert at the Cheesecake Factory. Then home by midnight. We were pooped! Today we are going to go see Wolverine with Rick's brother Tim who gave Rick theater tickets for his birthday. It's been raining dogs and dogs here. Not cats and dogs. That would be less rain and not raining so hard. This has been dogs and DOGS worth of rain. The ground is absolutely saturated and I'm getting tired of puddles and mud. So, ok, it's time to look for a picture to go with this, go wake my husband up, play with my dogs, and maybe get some scrapbooking done. Ciao!

Something old

I have been busy re-loading all of our digital photos onto our computer. The "dogs" got me Adobe Photoshop 7 for Christmas and I am wanting to start doing some digital things with photos. Here is a couple of old photos that are kindof fun.

The picture of Cindy and I is during a scrapbooking afternoon, laughing our heads off like we usually do. The photo of David (my brother), Mom and I is taken on a hike to Cape Flattery. It's my favorite picture of the three of us. The photo of Rick and I was taken at his brother Tim's place. We had been invited out there for Rick's birthday. These are all several years old, but I thought they were kind of fun pics.

Been a While

It's been some time since I've posted. I've been pretty much preoccupied with the puppies. They are so stinking cute! I gave them their first bath today. We tried to introduce puppy food into their diet and it didn't come out well. Well...it came out a lot! So, I figured that I had better post some current pictures.

Last Day of VayCay

Yes, it is my last day of vacation, I am so bummed. Well..the house mortgage mess is a big part of that. Just when I thought we had it all figured out, Countrywide throws another monkey wrench into it.

On a good note, I spent most of the time off playing with our new PUPPIES! Yes, Daisy had them the 1st day of vacation. She had 7. There are 4 girls and 3 boys. Very tramatic for the both of us. Daisy and I that is!

I also messed around with my IPod, put together a hard puzzle and on Monday the 26th we piled all 11 dogs (4 adults and 7 puppies) into the Tahoe and made a road trip to Forks,WA to go see the Twilight stuff".

We have been to Forks many times before all the hoopla about Twilight started but we haven't been back since the books have come out. Everywhere we went there was "Twilight" stuff to see.

Tommorow I return to work, I am so sad. It would be great if I was able to stay home all the time. Sigh
